Springs known since ancient times, they owe their name to Louis de Bourbon, count of L'Aquila.
In the two establishments, S. Francesco and Thermae Novae the waters, which are saline-bromide and iodized sulfurous and come from five springs, of which three are hot at 45 and 48°C, one is cold at 18°C and one is cold and drinkable at 15°C, are used for mud packs, baths, irrigations and aerosol treatments.
