| SALVATORE FIUME TOUR Fiumefreddo Bruzio is a village of medieval origin, partly surrounded by walls built under Arab rule. From the many belvederes, there is a splendid view as far as the eye can see along the Tyrrhenian coast. Noteworthy sights: - Pignatelli, Zupi and Lazzarone palaces, the Eastern Gate and the Golette Gate

This 18th century village, at about 200 meters altitude on a cliff rising between two ravines, fascinated the famous painter Salvatore Fiume, who was born in Comiso in 1915 and died in 1997, so much that he chose it as the ideal place to spend his summers. Here he found fertile terrain for his artistic genius, significant traces of which still remain: - Girl surfing, bronze sculpture located on largo Torretta, ;
- Wheel of Fortune, bronze sculpture on largo La Rupe,;
- - The decoration of the vault of the church of San Rocco showing the saint saving the population, victim of the plague, and ;
- - The frescoes produced in the ‘Seventies at the Della Valle Castle di Fiumefreddo.
